"Active Citizenship in the New Homeland" Project

About the Project

Active Citizenship in the New Homeland (Act-New Home) is a new Erasmus+ project, that intends to develop an e-learning module to raise awareness of asylum seekers and refugees about their rights and obligations. We aim to improve the competencies of educators working in universities, public institutions and NGOs in providing “Active Citizenship for Asylum Seekers and Refugees” training. It is aimed to increase the institutional capacity by improving the competencies of education administrators and educators.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Presidency for European Union – Turkish National Agency and the Erasmus+ Program are Çankaya Başkent Public Education Center from Ankara and Kadıköy Public Education Center from Istanbul.The partners of the project from EU member countries are Four Elements from Greece, Scout Society from Romania, Cuiablue OÜ from Estonia, Pistes-Solidaires from France and FAJUB from Portugal.
