Our esteemed academics from various faculties at Marmara University are actively participating in numerous prestigious projects supported by the European Union and other international research funds, undertaking short-term academic secondments abroad.
In this context, our faculty members contribute to interdisciplinary research activities conducted in various countries and institutions while also continuing to strengthen Marmara University's international academic collaborations. Dr. Ayşe Akpınar (Foreign Languages Preparatory School) is working at Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT), Uzbekistan, as part of the MOCCA Project.
Prof. Dr. Fehmi Yılmaz (History Department) is continuing his academic work at Tashkent State University of Economics (NARXOZ), Uzbekistan, as part of the ORCA Project.
Dr. İbrahim Mazlum (Faculty of Political Science) is working as a secondment at NARXOZ, Uzbekistan, as part of the CARSI Project.
Dr. Gizem Kapucu (Faculty of Law) is participating in research activities at WIUT, Uzbekistan, as part of the MOCCA Project.
Dr. Selim Han Yeniacun (Research Institute for the Middle East and Islamic Countries) is working at WIUT, Uzbekistan, as part of the MOCCA Project.
Prof. Dr. Sinem Ergun (Faculty of Business Administration) is working at NARXOZ, Uzbekistan, as part of the CARSI Project.
Prof. Dr. Suna Gülfer Ihlamur (Faculty of Political Science) is working at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, as part of the TRACHMED Project.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgi Durgun (Faculty of Political Science) is continuing her research at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, as part of the MARS Project.
Meral Balcıoğlu (Faculty of Political Science) is working at the Center for Sociological Research Ltd, Baku, Azerbaijan, as part of the ORCA Project.
Leysen Şahin (Turkish Research Institute) works at the Center for Sustainable Development in Vietnam as part of the LABOUR Project.
