Within the scope of the ORCA project, the seminar on National Manuscript Studies in Turkmenistan and the seminar on Current Studies of Turkmen Historians on Manuscripts in Türkiye were held with the participation of Geldimyrat Muhammedov, Director of the Manuscript Resources Department of the Mahtumkulu Institute, and Babacan Mollaekayev, Senior Researcher at the Institute.

The historians explained to the audience the studies they conducted on manuscripts in the Marmara University Suleymaniye Library and other important libraries. They shared their studies on many historical and literary works written during the Ottoman and Seljuk periods with the audience. They stated that they would translate the manuscripts they found into Turkmen and publish them, and that these studies would make a great contribution to the common history and literature of Türkiye and Turkmenistan.
